****Tablature for the guitar instrumental is given below.
Note that there is a different solo for the "All You
Need Is Cash" album version (solo 1(a) and 1(b) ) to
that of the Rutland Weekend Television (RWT) version
   (solo 2).

   Solo 1(a): Rutles album version

(Refer to tab notes below Solo 1(b)  )

+++Note that this version has "Drop D" tuning, ie. THE BASS `E'
STRING IS TUNED DOWN TO A D NOTE). This is to accommodate
the lowest note of the guitar solo. However, if desired, the
solo can be played without changing the guitar's tuning. A
version of this is given below (an octave higher, to allow
   for the lowest D note).

   Solo 1(b): Rutles album version
             (adapted for normal tuning) (tab)

     G                               Dsus4         D

E-----------------------------------------------------------

G-----------------------------------------------------------
D-----------------------------------------------------------
A-----------------------------------------------------------
D-----------------------------------------------------------

Tab notes:
-Chords are given above tablature.
-Notes written such as: 7~~9~~7 indicate a string bend. Play the
first note written, in this case, the 7th fret of the A string,
and then bend the string while playing the note so that it's
pitch rises to that of the second note written, in this case,
the note on the 9th fret. The note is then allowed to return to
the original note given, ie. the note on the 7th fret in this
case. Where notes are written like this with numbers in parentheses,
eg. (7)~~5 the first note written in parentheses is fretted but not
played; the string is bent up to the second note written and that is
the note that is heard. (ie. in these cases the notes indicated in
parentheses are not heard, but are just fretted in order to bend the
string up to the next note). These string bends don't have to be
played. If desired, just ignore the bends, etc, and play the notes as
written (omitting the notes in parentheses).

D chord can be played instead.
