Neil meant so many different things to so many people. He was the driving force behind the Bonzo Dog Band, collaborator with Monty Python and its individual members, co-creator of the Rutles and an internationally beloved creator of comedic songs.

Neil and Yvonne were married for 53 years and had three sons Miles, Luke and Barney.  Yvonne accompanied Neil for much of his career and documented these tours as well as his solo tours with her popular tour diaries.

In this book you get a good idea of a performer’s life in the 60s and 70s, unrestrained by rules and the way things used to be. A revolution was happening in music and comedy. The book lets you feel the energy and inspiration of those years but also lets you glimpse the other side of the business where greed is all.
